Puzzlino has no accounts, no ads and no cookies. Puzzles are made in your browser. To improve the site we keep anonymous statistics about the puzzles people make, and these include the words you type. Please do not type information you want to keep private, such as full names.

When you generate or download a puzzle, we store one record with: what happened (generated or downloaded), the puzzle type, the language of the page, the theme (if you started from one), the grid size, the difficulty and other settings (accents, word list shown, paper size, puzzle code), the title you typed, the words you typed, and for crosswords the clues.

We use these records to see which puzzles, themes and settings are used, and to improve word lists and the generators.

We do not store your IP address, browser or device details, or any user id in these records, and we do not set cookies. The records cannot be linked to you unless you typed something that identifies you.

We count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies and reports only aggregated numbers. The site is hosted by Vercel and the statistics are stored in a database at Supabase. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website; we do not copy these into our statistics.

Your browser may remember for one session that you closed the language suggestion. This stays in your browser and is not a cookie.

The anonymous statistics are kept without a fixed end date. If you want records removed, email us the words or title you used and we will delete matching records.
